Free Bingo – are the bingo sites crazy?

We’ll we all know that nothing in life is ever free, and gambling institutions are out to make money fact. So where do they gain from free bingo? Well, the answer is elementary my dear… it’s all to get you hooked. I have worked in bingo halls in the past the principle was similar but different. Most clubs occasionally offered days of free bingo. Why? Well not everything was free that was the catch and more players would turn up. So not only was more money mad on drinks etc but on certain none free games like the MCB (mini cash bingo), party bingo, or bingo boards if your still struggling to understand what I’m talking about. But, the main factor for these promotions was not the fact that they didn’t really cost the company anything, was to generate what the higher ups would call the feel good factor. The regular customers felt taken care of so would stay regular. But, mostly they hoped this would convert new players. If somebody came to try free bingo, liked it, the hope was they would come back again and pay next week and come regularly thereafter. Ok, this didn’t always work but you get the idea. Now the reason this applies directly to online bingo is that they’re all hoping to convert players in the same way my previous employers have.

Bingo Offers – what do the bingo sites get out of this?

The motivation behind these is slightly different. Originally it was perhaps a good idea, but the poor short sighted fool obviously knew not the proverbial can of worms he or she was opening in offering the customer free money. The idea was simple offer more than the opposition and the people will come to you. However, essentially he/she started a bidding war, and now it is almost essential to offer the customer bonuses if you have any intention of recruiting them to your online bingo fold. Bingo offers are everywhere now, get £50 free, double your deposit and so on so forth, bingo offers are everywhere. There great for the customers but I bet everyone in the industry is cursing the poor bugger who came up with the original idea of the aforementioned bingo offers.
